• Audiologic, logopedic and logopedic-phoniatric prevention, diagnosis, treatment and prosthetics, i.e. rehabilitation of persons with disturbances in the hearing, voice and speech;

• Specialist-medical treatment (pediatric, otorhinolaringhologic, neuropsychiatric and stomato-orthodontic) of persons with disturbances in the hearing, voice and speech, as a part of the audiologic, logopedic and phonetic-phoniatric practice in the institution;

• Pre-school upbringing and preparing for special and regular teaching of deaf, hard-of-hearing, logopaths and children with autism;

• Special education of hard-of-hearing and logopaths;

• Organizing counseling activities and work with the families of the persons with disturbances in the hearing, voice and speech, audio and oral prosthetics;

• Work on the culture of speech, studying of the hearing, voice and speech and their pathologies as well as of the problems arising from the basic activities of the working organization;

• Finding and creating prototypes of new and more contemporary means for diagnostics, rehabilitation, protection and studying of the hearing, speech and voice and also prosthetic and protection means for hearing, speech and voice, for their own as well as for the needs of third persons;

• Servicing of diagnostic, rehabilitation, medical, research, electro technical, technical and electronic means and helping devices in hearing, speech and voice;

• Edits publications, papers and other materials in its field of interest.
